My ears are sensitive, can I wear your products?

Yes! While every body is different, Harper & Company is dedicated to creating jewelry specifically for sensitive ears in mind! We source hypoallergenic stainless steel or 18k gold plated findings to ensure your comfort. Our findings are tested during our design phase, and we are confident that most people will be able to wear our earrings without issue.

I love your designs, but I don’t have my ears pierced!

That’s okay!  Inclusion is incredibly important to us, which is why we offer an entire line of pierce-less earrings for every occasion. How heavy are the earrings?

The beauty of polymer clay is that it is incredibly lightweight product. Most of our clay designs weigh less than a Canadian nickel (3.95 grams) which means that they won’t weigh on your lobes or cause long-term damage. Even if your design contains additional accents (metals, gemstones, etc), the average Harper & Company piece still weighs less than a Canadian quarter (5.7 grams). 

How do I care for my Harper & Company earrings?

Polymer clay is a very durable product but still requires care to give our pieces the best chance of longevity. Please do not bend our earrings or expose them to extreme temperatures. Our pieces should be stored in a cool dry place, and we recommend using a jewellery box or the carrying case provided in every order for transportation when travelling. We have taken great care to source 18k gold plated findings that are hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant, however, water/chemicals like lotions or perfumes can break down the gold-plating. In every order, as well as the carrying case, we provide a polishing cloth and care instructions to keep your Harper & Company pieces as timeless as possible.
